Waves

Out of nowhere,

a wave crashes over me,

consuming every breath I take,

and every piece of oxygen I need to breath.

Out of nowhere, Indescribable pain pierces through my heart,

rippling through my entire body,

leaving nothing untouched.

Out of nowhere, the loss of your presence in my world is immeasurable,

and felt in ways my heart and

mind simply cannot comprehend.

Out of nowhere,

I forget to breath as sadness engulfs me, leaving me immobilised,

terrified to feel the magnitude of this grief.

Out of nowhere,

I have no choice but to feel,

to feel the loss of you,

and the evident disconnection within me.

Waves, errratic and unpredictable.

Waves, always leading me back to me.
